Yesterday we did the first treatment on the chook’s leg.  Silvie was a perfect patient.  It must have hurt but she didn’t complain.  It doesn’t appear to be staf like a vet friend of mine thought it was but it is still a nasty infection.  Hopefully we can fix her.

I really want to get out into the garden this week.  Clean the chook pen.  Build a new roost and screw in the shell grit container into their run.  We went and got some horse manure from the racecourse across the road the other day.  It should help with the soil structure and nutrient levels.

Nothing else of note to write about.
